Our team at Head2Toe conducted a study on 10,000 fashion creators and their earnings. In this study, we identified 4 common issues that this group of creators faced that ultimately hindered their monetization & success. The 4 common challenges we found were algorithm changes, unpredictable earnings, inconsistent content reach, and creators needed help with monetization. With this discovery, our team decided to create a platform and creator program to help creators overcome the challenges we found in our research. So our fashion platform helps creators grow and teaches fashion and beauty content creators how to monetize their content.

We found that the most used social platform earned $32 billion in 2025 and paid out close to $0 to it's creators. Instagram's head Adam Mosseri admitted that paying creators is essentially burning money from a business perspective — "if we hadn't paid you $1,000, we would've made the exact same amount of revenue."
We discovered that in 2025, only 4% of creators earn more than $100,000 yearly.
50% of creators earn under $5,000 annually — often less than minimum wage when accounting for hours invested.
57% of full-time creators still earn below the average U.S. living wage. But 51.5% of US creators grew earnings in 2025 — mostly the ones stacking subscriptions, affiliates, and commerce alongside campaigns.
